A Torn Heart, Second Coat of Paint...
I could barely wait to get off work to come home and find the status of how well the second coat of paint dried throughout the afternoon. I experimented with some different gels mixed in with my paint with this coat. After seeing how it dried, I have decided that I like the looks of the heavy gloss gel. I haven't put the self leveling gel to use quite yet and I have no idea what to put it to use on, but I hope it turns out as well as the heave gel did. Here's a peek at the updated work!
I especially like how the gel did with the texture of the hair. It turned out pretty close to how I wanted it to. The texture of the shirt...meh...so so. With a little more practice and the purchase of a few more canvases, I think I'll have the control of the paint mixed with the gel down a little bit better. Let me know what you think!
